Calder Mist

The view from Heptonstall on a cold December night, mist hangs low filling the valley to Todmorden. I was hoping for clear skies and a few stars overhead but it wasn't to be. It's still an impressive view over the sea of mist.

I returned the following morning hoping for the same view at sunrise but the low mist turned to thick fog filling the valley and obscuring any view for most of the day.
