Cathing Some Sun

Although this sunrise in Bushy Park didn't amount to much for colour, it was a beautiful tranquil time with little wind on the Leg of Mutton pond. A little golden light broke through for just a few minutes and lit up the swans wings as he preened and then stretched, soaking up some of the golden morning warmth. When a swan stands tall and stretches, if you are close, you really get a sense of the power of those wingsand size of the birds, grace and power combined.
