Golden Harvest

I set off with some tredpidation in the middle of the night for this image. It's quite a trek down to the beach, across the stones and boulders in the dark, standing beneath the cliffs at Beachy Head. However the perfect timing of the low tide and the alignment of the setting moon meant this had to be tried, even if the forecast was a little uncertain. In the end it was a spectacular display as the moon dropped down through clear skies, unfortunately hitting the bank of clouds at the critical moment!!

Well worth the journey and a unique experience to remember, you come away from a trip like this feeling absolutely like you have achieved something and seen something unique!
