Ophiuchi Rising
A calm clear night down on Cuckmere Haven beach watching the Milky Way rise. I love this little area of sky, the Rho Ophiuchi cloud complex is so colourful when shot with an asto modifided camera. About 460 light years away it's relatively close in astronomical terms!!
You don't get long in the Uk to shoot this part of the sky as it is so low to the horizon and in the latter half of the year it's already too low to shoot. Nice to see it and get to spend some time on it before the summer.
