Orion Rising

A cold winter night watching the stars at Thundry Meadows. It was below zero and the grass was frosted and crunchy underfoot. Waves of mist rolled through the river just to keep us cool! A thin layer of high clouds rolled in and added a lovely diffuse glow to the bigger stars. I love the big orange glow of Beetlegeuse, although I can't look at it without thinking of Michael Keaton!!
