Shard Moonrise
A couple of times per year the sun and moonrises align with the Shard from Richmond Park. I spied the crescent moon rise would work and thought it was worth a shot! This occurs well before sunrise so required a middle of the night alarm call!!!
The forecast looked good but so many times I have been frustrated by a low bank of cloud on the horizon. This time the weather gods smiled on me and it was clear to the horizon!!
Such an awesome sight watching the crescent slowly rise behind the shard and over the city whilst having the park to myself in complete tranquility.
