Yellow Brick Road
I went out on the promise of clear skies and the sunrise lining up with some interesting London skyline. Initially it didn't look as promising as hoped, some low cloud in the distance interfering with the sunrise, breezy so no mist and the skyline in question was not looking great!!
However I persevered and once the sun got a bit higher it started to shed some lovely golden haze through the clouds and light up the road nicely, then a cyclist came into view. In the end I was quite pleased with these and it was much better than I initially feared.
A great reminder to persevere and see how the conditions develop. It's easy to get sucked into a plan and a particular outcome in mind, the ability to adapt and take the conditions as they come made for quite a special image this morning.
